The pollen parent to this hybrid, Vanda lamellata, is native to Borneo, Philippines Mariana Islands, Ryukyu Islands and Taiwan. The flowers are very long lasting, have a beautiful pattern with a slight fragrance.

The seed pod parent, Vanda Boris, is a large faced vanda with very showy creamy yellow flowers covered in spots!
